Lazy-minded wishful thinker

 The ignorant! Who is that? It is the person that believes that everything will be just fine with a little magic sauce. If I do this, then that will happen. Unfortunately the ignorant mostly forgets to include other data points it well knows and therefore often misreads the room which then turns into anxiety as outcomes have shifted from the wishful good to an unknown outcome. The ignorant lies to themselves and ergo to the others while keeping up their expectations that all be fine. Who shall blame the ignorant in a world of memes, snippets and constant misinformation. 

 

 

Fact though is the human race in its conception is to work in a social bond. There is the leaders of the pack and eventually the youth will grow into their foot steps. The leader teaches and the youth adapts and in some cases rebels as they see the changes necessary to align to a changing reality. The ignorant in contrary though believes it can do all by its own while asking for help to spread the peanut butter onto its toast but never what the next step of progression could be. Further the lazy-minded believes strongly it deserves the right to be different and do whatever it wants while though also knowing it will cause adversity and then clams back into its shell to blame the others of its own wrongdoing and claiming of being never supported.  Lazy to think about the consequences while setting expectations to others which they even know they can't keep on their own. The lazy-minded that fear to ask for help because they could benefit from it and then not be able to declare it as their own win which they wish so much for themself.

The lazy-minded and wishful thinker is:

• a lair to themselves and ergo to its social surrounding
• a thief of value to themselves and others
• a destroyer of dreams

In the construct of the human race and its packs, each individual has its role. The elderly with the wealth of knowledge of good and bad and its hard work performed daily to protect, feed and nourish. The youth getting tasks buildup to provide them the knowledge over time so that they can support the next generation and being a leader or having a significant role in the pack. While obeying rules/laws of the pack.

Bare in mind each individual has expectations and anyone giving time, emotions and other valuables to others has that right to express and define rules that it wishes to be obeyed, respected. While nodding"yeah, sure" during the reveal of such it should actually mean something but the lazy-minded wishful thinker will eventually forget or has from the start internally rejected the requirements as being stupid. This just simply by the fact its lazy-mind believes in its entitlement and all will be fine. The portrayed though might feel very differently and will let go. 

Dreaming is not only a night sleeping thing. Dreaming is articulating what you want. After "I don't know", happiness is often named as a dream. If so, why then being lazy to acknowledge that others want to be happy too. Happiness comes mostly when issues are solved together, when values are shared and even when the values differ but you acknowledge that the feelings are true and you still can support them.

 One can turn into a hot potato if things are ignored. Life is work and it will always be. Its about being tidy for your own sake and values. Its about actually caring about others. Eager to look nice or towards a theme is a part of it and should not be ignored as it seems you actually want to fit in and appeal to others. Act accordingly and start to accept and own your mistakes. Explain your actions to allow you to work on betterment. Be truthful to yourself and start to set real expectations that you can achieve today and form a pattern to enable to reaffirm those towards your dreams. At the end you should have learned by now that life and partnership is hard work and a constant battle of expectations from all sides. You want to be active, then be active. Respect the rules of others and if you do not like the rules and want them to change then negotiate by achievements and not higher expectations. You want to be respected then start to respect others without any ties attached while not loosing your dreams and values. You state you need to be there for others but expect certain outcomes to your action then formulate them upfront and not after the fact. In return though listen to the demands set to you and accept them and adhere to them. Stop being a lazy-minded wishful thinker and actually read the books, the room. Understand that even if you have a hatred to one individual, you might have hurt others in your doing and should ask them for their forgiveness and potential help. Yes, help can be also hurtful as might learn what you do not want to hear but that is on you to comprehend why it hurts, accept and find ways to adapt. Chasing false narratives - wishful thinking sounds comfy but in reality it sucks and seldom becomes reality and you know it. Share to the values given to you as well the values you have taken out of them. 

Folgerichtig 2.0, a new beginning

Folgerichtig is a German adjective and translates to consequential, logically consistent. During the time Kugelfisch and I met and fell in love with each other we talked a lot about the meaningfulness, significance, sense of purpose of all what we are doing (Sinnhaftigkeit). I at the time was done with my marriage and needed a split and Kugelfisch also coming from a long relationship formed a sort of unwritten agreement to be logical consistent and meaningful in our actions supporting each others dreams and goals while establishing another family tree branch. The initial Folgerichtig blog started that way in trying to express emotions while getting divorced and trying to keep my father role established. Living the majority of my life in Berlin we decided to move to the USA starting in Virginia Beach and growing as a family. The journey then brought us to Ojai the place we now live and encountered the CoVid pandemic. The time were everyone and everything somehow went thru a reset. I stopped my photography and blog writing as we all maneuvered threw the new normal. With Folgerichtig 2.0 I want to revamp my creative side. 

So where are we now in life? Ojai is beautiful and full of opportunities. 

    Kugelfisch has been a Soccer Coach for our kids QI, IQ and FS and still coaches FS. She moved up the ranks to Coach Admin at AYSO 147 and learned a lot about the diversity of parents and eager coaches. Momentarily she tries to establish the possibility of a home grown Ojai Soccer Club Team which is not easy as AYSO currently does not have a program for that. On the other side IQ has had the opportunity to join a Club team driven by a team mates father who saw the boys playing and wanted to support their need to play more competitive, more to that later in IQ section of this blog. Lets hope for the Ojai youth that she will succeed as we all see what good it does to the community and then hopefully in the High School programs. 

    QI has a finally graduated from high school and is now visiting Ventura College and pursuing his artistic side of things in graphics and photography. He has girlfriend for while now and therefore we only see him when he chooses to see us for ...  

    IQ is a vivid athlete. Successful in Track&Field sprinting and jumping, Football receiver, kicker, safety and Soccer (real football) as a striker or Winger. IQ joined the Ojai United club team 3 years ago as the youngest and this weekend they won the U19 Las Vegas International Showcase Tournament. To note IQ just turned 16 and he has shown the defense whose turf it actually is. Regardless if they are double in size, weight it does not matter.  

    FS will finish Elementary School this summer and move to Middle School. FS plays also soccer and made the All-Stars 3 times in a row. A fast girl but sometimes lazy to charge in fear to hurt the other. Well, her brother went thru the same at one point.

    I still work for the same vice company and had just recently two projects which were very successful and also brought me back into traveling to China and Vietnam. As I have known China for a while now I was eager to learn more about Vietnam and I must say I like Vietnam a lot. 

All in all everything is good and the kids are doing their thing to make something out of themselves. We all had to learn and adapt to the new Post-CoVid reality and its bi-polar political landscape. We all are making the best out of life as time passes by.
